If you love Gmail and you love your Mac, then I guarantee that you’ll love Mailplane.

I have been using Mailplane for quite some time now and don’t see my life without it! I even prefer it over Mail.app and Entourage. This amazing app lets you connect to multiple Gmail accounts, attach files using drag and drop, and receive notifications with Growl. TV Spots: Super Bowl ads still rule!

Even when the economy isn’t doing so hot it doesn’t stop advertisers from airing their commercials during the Super Bowl. According to this article on Advertising Age, NBC has sold nearly all spots at over $2.4 million! Ah the power of a great ad and of course…the Super Bowl.

I especially love Miller’s idea of saving money by just airing a spot that runs for 1-second. Watch the video below for more on this.

Mac App: Lock It Down!

The other day I was looking for a new way to secure my laptop. Then, I found this little number called Lockdown.

Lockdown is a Mac security application built from the popular iAlertU. With a new tricked out interface, Lockdown makes makes securing your precious Mac easier than ever!

It functions with your Apple Remote and makes a little “chirp” when armed. (Much like your fancy car.) You can also set it up to work with the Motion and MagSafe-removal detection. The sweetest part? If you want to catch whoever tripped the alarm in the act, it will take a snapshot of the culprit with your iSight camera.
